Agency (CHCPA) is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the children, families, foster parents, staff, and partners we serve. We collect personal and sensitive information, including identifying details such as name, date of birth, Social Security number, contact information, medical and educational records, background check data, and case history. This information is used to provide child placement services, evaluate and support foster homes, ensure child safety and well-being, comply with Texas regulations, and coordinate services with educational, healthcare, and mental health professionals. We do not sell or rent any personal information. Information is only shared when legally required, necessary for child safety, permitted by consent, or in coordination with authorized agencies and providers. CHCPA implements strong administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including secure storage, restricted access, and staff training to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure of information. Individuals have the right to request access to records, correct inaccuracies, and request limits on how their information is used, as allowed by law. Children's records are handled with the utmost confidentiality, in accordance with Texas child welfare laws, and access is limited to authorized personnel involved in the child's care. CHCPA may periodically update this Privacy Policy. When changes occur, the effective date will be revised and notice provided if necessary.
